Specializing in knit jersey novelty tops and dresses MLH aspires to fill a void in the contemporary designer women's market by exploring the limitless possibilities of novelty knitwear dressing. With seasoned designer Lynne Hiriak at the charge, MLH promises to evolve as a fresh new voice in women's knitwear.

MLH brings rich jewel tones, multicolored prints and sequin embellishments to seasonless silk and rayon yarns, reinventing jersey dressing for the well-traveled bohemian party girl. Hiriak finds inspiration in her own travels and often takes the lead from the power of color and multiples. "I have an obsessive habit of buying several colors of one item then going back to buy even more because I love them so much. It's particularly exciting when they're inexpensive, yet classic, like multicolored moccasins, rainbow piles of cotton Indian shirts or handmade Italian leather sandals. My purchasing can get pretty outrageous", explains Hiriak.

Among Lynne's favorites are MLH's signature pieces, the sequin Peacock dress and tank, inspired by a personal vintage top she discovered years ago. It immediately went into heavy rotation and soon took on a life of its own, evolving into the office mascot and MLH's signature. The Peacock collection personifies the MLH girl with glamorous and whimsical silhouettes grounded in the brilliant colors found in nature. Delicately set on steel, black and coral, multicolored sequins recreate updates of the mythical bird's opulent fan along the sexy necklines of these ultimate nighttime pieces.

Although Lynne's personal taste veers towards classic, the MLH line caters to her alter ego, as the designs reflect her own carefree, playful attitude. She hopes to bring out a certain side of every woman's personality. "I truly believe every woman has a desire to be impulsive, have fun, feel sexy and look great. We're giving her a chance to say it through her wardrobe," says Hiriak.
